Polypropylene Cast film ( CPP)
CPP General description
CPP is the acronym of cast polypropylene a film oriented in a single direction. The flexibility and optical properties of the CPP are setting it apart from other packaging materials and is rapidly becoming the film of choice in full range of traditional and non-traditional packaging applications.
Structure:
Our CPP film structure has an excellent machine run ability and is specifically designed to be processed on modern high-speed machines. CPP can be metallized significantly increasing the barrier properties for product shelf demanding applications. Our Cpp has enhanced corona treatment capabilities to ensure the best bonds with inks and adhesives.
Physical properties:
The film is extremely resistant to cross directional tear, has superior optics properties, high gloss, exceptional heat sealing performance, excellent high heat resistance, good barrier properties, flexible elasticity, improved printability, and superior moisture-proof properties.
Cost Effective:
The CPP stands out with the lowest density of any other film. In many cases, the cost per pound of CPP may be greater than PE or PVC, but more cost-effective than both options on a cost per MSI basis. The polypropylene can be used as a single film or as a lamination sealant depending on the application. Its unique performance factors, when combined with exceptional economic yield, set the CPP apart from all other film materials.
Application:
The CPP is used in an array of application, ranging from technical multi-layer film for sterile medical application to numerous style of bag making and for lamination purpose. Ranging from side-seal bags to stand-up reclosable pouches, candy twist wrap, wicket bags, loose bags, multi layer laminated sealant films designed to meet sophisticated packaging and laminating needs. Our CPP film structures has an excellent machine suitability and is specifically designed to run efficiently on high speed modern machines. CPP can be metallized significantly increasing the barrier properties for product shelf demanding applications. Our CPP has enhanced corona treatment capabilities to ensure the best bonds with inks and adhesives.
